Yall, there are many things on the list we have been concerned about today, BUT one of those have been marked off the list! HE WET HIS DIAPER! It might not seem like much, but we were concerned that his kidneys hadn't function yet in his first 24 hours. Please pray for continued progress! We are so so so excited tonight!
Tomorrow we will all be headed to Grady and will update as soon as I can. Thank you again for all your prayers. God has truly moved mountains today!!!!!
Thomas, Jennifer, and Porter McClain we love you so much and have sent prayers out on your behalf all the way around the world. I know alot of people in this world and when I ask them to pray they do! Entire churches lifted up Porter this morning at their services. People I didn't even know that they look at my facebook have posted they have prayed. It was my prayer all day today (Sunday) that Jennifer get to that hospital so she can touch that baby. God has answered my prayer. I can sleep much better tonight knowing that Jesus holds you all in His hands and He is taking care of you as we have prayed.

I ran across your blog through some one's facebook page. I pray that Little Porter continues to become strong. Grady is an AWESOME hospital, my GOD daughter was born at 21wks and spend time in the NICU there and now is a healthy happy 15mo old. That is awesome to hear of him wetting his diaper that is a big step, and yes every little detail is good and perfect, no matter how small it is or how big it is. GOD bless you guys...
ReplyDeleteMy name is Keri Brown Bush. I graduated with Jennifer. I just had a baby 3 months ago and my heart breaks for Jennifer as I can only imagine what she is feeling right now. Please let her know that my husband and I are praying for her, Thomas, and little Porter. God is Faithful.
ReplyDeleteThomas, Jennifer and little Porter,
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I have both been praying without ceasing for you and your beautiful little angel. Just know that you are all in the lap of God and that he is cradling Porter when you cannot be there to hold him yourself. God surrounds you on every side and He will give you the strength, rest and peace you need to travel this difficult path. We must believe in all of the promises of God that are found in His word and it says that His strength is suffiecient. We love you all!
